The invention relates to a charging and discharging method of a charging trailer, and relates to the technical field of energy storage batteries. Comprising the following steps: determining the electric quantity and address of a first battery module and the electric quantity and address of all second battery modules; when the charging trailer is charged, the first battery module is charged to a preset electric quantity according to the electric quantity and the address of the first battery module; determining a target rechargeable battery module according to the electric quantities and addresses of all the second battery modules; and charging the target rechargeable battery module to preset electric quantity according to the address of the target rechargeable battery module. When the charging trailer discharges, determining a target discharging battery module according to the electric quantity and the address of all the second battery modules; and controlling the target discharge battery module to discharge according to the address of the target discharge battery module until all the second battery modules finish discharging, and controlling the first battery module to discharge according to the address of the first battery module. The problem that the unified charging and discharging mode of each layer of module affects the battery health of each layer of module is solved.
