The invention relates to the field of new energy automobiles, and provides a tire slip angle adaptive estimation method and device. The method comprises the steps that motion state parameters of a vehicle in the driving process are collected; processing the motion state parameters by using a preset first tire slip angle estimator and a preset second tire slip angle estimator respectively to obtain a first tire slip angle estimated value and a second tire slip angle estimated value; based on a preset weight distribution strategy, determining a first weight coefficient distributed to the first tire slip angle estimated value and a second weight coefficient distributed to the second tire slip angle estimated value; based on the obtained real-time road condition information and the vehicle load, the first weight coefficient and the second weight coefficient are subjected to self-adaptive adjustment, and a first adjustment weight coefficient and a second adjustment weight coefficient are obtained; and fusing the first tire slip angle estimated value and the second tire slip angle estimated value based on the first adjustment weight coefficient and the second adjustment weight coefficient to obtain a fused tire slip angle estimated value. The estimation accuracy of the tire slip angle can be effectively improved.
