The battery pack comprises a cooling unit, a battery management unit, a switch unit and at least two battery modules, the battery management unit is connected with the at least two battery modules and the switch unit, the at least two battery modules are connected with the cooling unit through the switch unit, and the battery management unit is used for acquiring parameters of the battery modules; and when at least one battery module connected with the switch unit is not in thermal runaway, the switch unit is controlled to gate one battery module and the cooling unit. According to the embodiment of the invention, the path of the thermal runaway treatment process is shortened, and the thermal runaway treatment reliability is improved. And external equipment is not needed, thermal runaway suppression failure caused by abnormity of the external equipment is avoided, and the reliability of thermal runaway treatment is further improved. And meanwhile, the power supply reliability of the cooling unit can be ensured, the reliability of thermal runaway treatment is further improved, and the safety of the battery pack can be further improved.
本发明公开了一种电池包及热失控保护方法、车辆。该电池包包括冷却单元、电池管理单元、开关单元和至少两个电池模组;电池管理单元与至少两个电池模组和开关单元连接,至少两个电池模组通过开关单元与冷却单元连接,电池管理单元用于获取电池模组的参数,并在至少一个与开关单元连接的电池模组未热失控时控制开关单元选通其中一个电池模组与冷却单元。本发明实施例缩短了热失控处理过程的路径,提高了热失控处理的可靠性。而且无需依靠外部设备,避免外部设备异常造成的热失控抑制失效,进一步地提高了热失控处理的可靠性。同时可以保证冷却单元的供电可靠性,进一步地提高了热失控处理的可靠性,进而可以提高电池包的安全性。
