The invention provides a silicon rod detection platform, which comprises a rack, rotating parts, a first driving part, a clamping device and a detection device, and is characterized in that the rotating parts are arranged on the rack and can rotate around a first direction relative to the rack, and the two rotating parts can be relatively close to each other and relatively far away from each other in a second direction; the first driving piece is connected with at least one of the two rotating pieces, the clamping device is arranged on the rack, at least part of the clamping device can move in the third direction relative to the rack, the clamping device can pass through the space between the two rotating pieces which are relatively far away, and the clamping device can clamp and release a silicon rod so as to take and place the silicon rod on the two rotating pieces which are relatively close to each other. The detection device is arranged on the rack and used for detecting the silicon rods placed on the two rotating pieces. According to the silicon rod detection platform, the silicon rod is taken and placed on the two rotating parts which are relatively close to each other through the clamping device, and the silicon rod is supported and driven to rotate in a stable posture through the rotating parts, so that the silicon rod can be accurately detected by the detection device.
