A conveying system (5) is arranged; transport system by means of which a respective motor vehicle (2) can be automatically transported from an extraction area (A) spaced apart from charging stations (3, 4) to a respective charging station (3, 4), from at least one first one of the charging stations (3, 4) to at least one second one of the charging stations (3, 4), and from a respective charging station (3, 4) to a charging station (3, 4) and an extraction area (A) and spaced apart waiting areas (W).
