The invention relates to the technical field of financial science and technology, and discloses a parameter configuration method and device for monitoring vehicle accident equipment, the equipment and a medium, and the method comprises the steps: grouping the equipment, and lowering the monitoring threshold of the equipment in each group, so as to collect as many collision vehicles which actually have accidents as possible, then, whether the collected collision vehicles actually have accidents or not is determined and counted, and finally, by gradually increasing the monitoring threshold value of the equipment, the proportion of the collision vehicles which actually have the accidents and are recognized through the increased monitoring threshold value tends to be reasonable, so that the false alarm rate of the equipment is reduced, and the safety of the equipment is improved. Finally, the monitoring thresholds of different groups of differentiated devices can be configured, so that the devices can accurately identify collision accidents subsequently.
