The invention discloses a large container ship methanol fuel cabin tank car inerting system which comprises a filling module, a gas return module and a recovery module, the filling module comprises a first liquid phase pipe and a second liquid phase pipe, the first liquid phase pipe and the second liquid phase pipe are converged into a liquid phase header pipe, and the liquid phase header pipe is communicated with three methanol storage cabins respectively; the first liquid-phase pipe and the second liquid-phase pipe are respectively provided with a first lightering pump and a second lightering pump, the gas return module comprises a first gas-phase pipe and a second gas-phase pipe, the first gas-phase pipe and the second gas-phase pipe are converged into a gas-phase header pipe, the gas-phase header pipe is respectively communicated with the three methanol storage cabins, the recovery module comprises a recovery pipeline and a recovery water tank, and the outlet end of the recovery pipeline is communicated with the recovery water tank. And the recovery pipeline is communicated with the first liquid phase pipe, the second liquid phase pipe and the gas phase header pipe. By using the system, the danger of methanol leakage is avoided after the methanol storage cabin is subjected to inerting treatment, and the inerting treatment efficiency is improved.
