The invention relates to the technical field of power batteries, and discloses an electrical control method for a vehicle power battery, which comprises a BMS (battery management system) arranged on the vehicle battery and used for controlling a main negative contactor, a main positive contactor and a pre-charging contactor, and is characterized by comprising the following steps: step 1, after the whole vehicle is ignited, closing the main negative contactor after the BMS self-detects that no abnormity exists, and starting the main positive contactor; the state of the main negative contactor is sent to the VCU through the whole vehicle CAN bus; and 2, after the VCU confirms that the system is not abnormal, the VCU closes a pre-charging contactor for pre-charging. According to the electrical control method for the vehicle power battery, the control of the main positive contactor is given to the VCU (vehicle control unit), and the control of the main negative relay is still given to the BMS, so that if any component of the BMS or the VCU breaks down, the battery can effectively cut off a main loop, and the beneficial effect that the electrical component of the power battery is controlled without depending on the BMS is achieved.

    本发明涉及动力电池技术领域,且公开了一种车用动力电池电气控制方法,包括设置在车用电池上控制主负接触器、主正接触器和预充接触器的BMS(电池管理系统),其特征在于,包括以下步骤:步骤一、整车点火后,BMS自检无异常后闭合主负接触器,并将主负接触器的状态通过整车CAN总线发送给VCU;步骤二、VCU确认系统无异常后,VCU闭合预充接触器进行预充。该车用动力电池电气控制方法,通过将主正接触器的控制交给VCU(整车控制器)负责,主负继电器的控制依然由BMS负责,实现了若BMS或者VCU任何一个元器件发生故障,电池都可以有效的切断主回路达到了不依靠BMS控制动力电池电气元件的有益效果。
