Provided is a self-sealing tire having a sealing layer on the inner peripheral surface of the tire, in which when the self-sealing tire is attached to a standard rim and has an internal pressure of 250 kPa, the cross-sectional width and the outer diameter of the self-sealing tire are defined as Wt (in mm) and Dt (in mm), respectively, Wt and Dt satisfy the following inequality (1): 1600 < = (Dt2 * [pi]/4)/Wt < = 2827.4 (1); the sealing layer has a dynamic complex elastic modulus G * of 0.50-3.50 kPa as measured in accordance with ISO 13145 under the conditions of a strain of 100% and a frequency of 0.1 Hz in an atmosphere at 100 DEG C.
