The invention relates to an air transportation cableway system for geological prospecting, which comprises an upper support frame, a lower support frame, a bearing cable, a traction cable and a transportation device, the upper support frame and the lower support frame are respectively fixedly arranged on a mountain top and a mountain foot, one end of the bearing cable is connected with the upper support frame, and the other end of the bearing cable is connected with the lower support frame; the traction cable is connected with the transportation device to pull the transportation device to slide on the bearing cable, and is characterized in that the left side and the right side of the transportation device are connected with anti-falling devices for preventing the transportation device from falling off from the bearing cable, the transportation device is movably connected with the anti-falling devices, and each anti-falling device comprises supports arranged on the front side and the rear side of the bearing cable; an opening groove is formed in the inner side wall of the support, first pulleys capable of abutting against the bearing cable are rotationally arranged in the opening groove, supports are arranged at the upper end of the support, and fastening structures capable of enabling the two first pulleys to be clamped inwards are arranged on the two supports. The aerial transportation cableway can prevent the transportation unit from falling off from the bearing cable when the transportation unit shakes, and transportation is safer and more stable.
