The invention belongs to the technical field of plastic tail doors, and provides a composite tail door inner plate cavity reinforcing structure which is arranged on the lower portion of a rear windshield area and comprises an inner plate cavity located in a space formed by a tail lamp reinforcing beam area, a supporting rod installation point area, a buffer block installation area and a door lock installation area. The whole layer of the inner plate cavity is in a U shape, at least one set of main body reinforcing beams and at least one door lock reinforcing beam are formed on the inner plate cavity, and the door lock reinforcing beams are located between the side edges of the main body reinforcing beams. The composite material tail door has the advantages that the reinforcing structure of the inner plate cavity is designed, the strength of the tail door is enhanced, meanwhile, the performance of the composite material tail door can be greatly improved, the performance of the composite material tail door is comprehensively better than that of a metal tail door, meanwhile, the development process problems such as the manufacturing process and the cost are considered, the weight is reduced by 30% or above, and the cost is reduced by 15% or above.
