The invention relates to the technical field of brake systems, and particularly discloses a pedal simulator which comprises a shell and a piston assembly, the shell is provided with a simulation cavity and a sliding hole communicated with the simulation cavity, and the axis of the sliding hole and the axis of the simulation cavity are collinear; the piston assembly comprises an execution rod, a piston set and a first elastic piece, the piston set is slidably arranged in the simulation cavity along the axis of the simulation cavity and divides the simulation cavity into a first cavity body and a second cavity body, the execution rod extends into the first cavity body from the sliding hole and can drive the piston set to slide in the simulation cavity, and the first elastic piece is arranged in the second cavity body; one end of the first elastic piece abuts against the piston set, the other end of the first elastic piece is fixedly connected with the shell, the piston set is provided with a throttling channel, and the two ends of the throttling channel communicate with the first cavity and the second cavity correspondingly. Compared with the constant-speed or slow-speed movement of the execution rod, in the same displacement, when the execution rod moves rapidly, the counter-acting force borne by the execution rod is larger. Therefore, the retarding feeling of a traditional pedal during quick stepping is simulated, and the pedal feeling of a driver is improved.
