The invention discloses a control method and device for braking safety of an electric vehicle passing through a deceleration strip road surface, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining an estimated value of a road surface adhesion coefficient according to a motor braking torque and a wheel speed change rate of the electric vehicle, and determining a road surface scene which comprises a low-adhesion road surface and a high-adhesion road surface, according to a preset rotating speed change rate threshold value, a braking scene is determined, the braking scene comprises a speed bump passing road surface and a high-adhesion non-speed bump passing road surface, and when it is determined that the braking scene is the speed bump passing road surface, the motor braking torque is recovered within the target duration after the anti-lock braking system is reset, and the motor braking torque is recovered within the target duration after the anti-lock braking system is reset. The target time length is smaller than the time length for recovering the braking torque of the motor after the accelerator is stepped on. According to the method provided by the invention, optimal braking control responding to different road conditions can be realized.
