The invention provides a vehicle front portion structure which improves an impact absorption structure of a vehicle front portion with respect to collision loads from above. A cowl louver (30) is disposed below a cowl upper cover plate (22), which is an outer plate member on the upper surface of a front vehicle body. The cowl louver (30) has a vertical wall (40) provided upright from the cowl panel (34) in the direction of the expected load (F). The vertical wall (40) bends at one location between the upper edge (40a) and the lower edge (40b), and the length (upper width (a)) from the ridge line (40c) at the bending position to the upper edge (40a) is different from the length (lower width (b)) from the ridge line (40c) at the bending position to the lower edge (40b). During deformation of the vertical wall (40) caused by a collision, energy is continuously consumed so that an impact is absorbed by moving the bent portion on the vertical wall (40).
