According to the embodiment of the invention, under the condition that the braking energy recovery function of the vehicle is in an activated state, a front axle sliding energy recovery torque and a rear axle sliding energy recovery torque are determined; the method comprises the steps of determining a front axle braking recovery torque and a rear axle braking recovery torque, determining the front axle recovery torque based on the front axle braking recovery torque and the front axle sliding energy recovery torque, and determining the rear axle recovery torque based on the rear axle braking recovery torque and the rear axle sliding energy recovery torque; and then the front axle motor is controlled to execute braking energy recovery operation according to the front axle recovery torque, and the rear axle motor is controlled to execute braking energy recovery operation according to the rear axle recovery torque. According to the embodiment of the invention, reasonable distribution of the recovery torque of the whole vehicle between the front axle and the rear axle can be realized, and accurate matching between electric braking and mechanical braking of the vehicle is realized while the braking energy recovery efficiency is improved.
