The material is prepared from 20 to 30 parts of maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene, 5 to 8 parts of ethylene-alkyl acrylate, 3 to 6 parts of di-tert-butyl peroxide, 0.1 to 0.4 part of calcium carbonate, 0.2 to 0.4 part of antioxidant and 0.3 to 0.5 part of light stabilizer, a preparation method of the low-VOC modified polypropylene material comprises the following steps: weighing the maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene, the ethylene-alkyl acrylate, the calcium carbonate, the antioxidant and the light stabilizer, uniformly mixing, placing in an environment of 45-65 DEG C, preserving heat for 1-2 hours, then adding the di-tert-butyl peroxide in parts by weight, and stirring for 2-3 hours at the speed of 200-240 r/min to prepare the low-VOC modified polypropylene material. The material is flatly laid on a base material, and cooling, stamping and cutting are carried out. Through synergistic cooperation of the maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene, the ethylene-alkyl acrylate, the di-tert-butyl peroxide and other components, the technical problem of excessive VOC release is solved from the source of the raw materials.
