The invention relates to the technical field of vehicles, and discloses a vehicle braking control method, device and equipment and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps that after a downhill cruise mode entering request is received, a vehicle is controlled to enter a downhill cruise mode; when the current speed of the vehicle is larger than the cruising speed in the downhill cruising mode, the total braking torque needed by vehicle braking is determined through a vehicle body electronic stability control system; determining a target allowable recovery torque of the power battery of the vehicle; braking control is conducted through a vehicle body electronic stability control system according to the total braking torque and the target allowable recycling torque; by means of the mode, when the current speed is larger than the cruising speed in the downhill cruising mode, the total braking torque needed by vehicle braking is determined, then braking control is conducted in combination with the target allowable recycling torque of the power battery, and therefore the rationality of vehicle braking control can be effectively improved; therefore, the vehicle can run at a stable speed on a downhill road section, and waste of resources is avoided.
