The invention relates to a vehicle charging and discharging method and system and a controller. The system comprises a power battery pack; the power battery controller is connected with the power battery pack; the bidirectional vehicle-mounted charger is connected with the power battery pack; the direct current charging and discharging socket is connected with the power battery pack through a first relay with a normally-open switch; the alternating current charging and discharging socket is connected with the two-way vehicle-mounted charger through a second relay with a normally-closed switch; the in-vehicle discharging socket is used for being connected with in-vehicle electric equipment and is connected with the two-way vehicle-mounted charger through a third relay with a normally-open switch; and the vehicle control unit is respectively connected with the bidirectional vehicle-mounted charger, the power battery controller, the first relay, the second relay, the third relay and the in-vehicle discharge socket. Under the condition that the cost of the whole vehicle is not increased, the charging and discharging safety is ensured, the expansion of the use scene of a user is ensured, and the use experience of the user is enhanced.
