The invention provides a hoisting assembly for a crane, and relates to the technical field of hoisting assemblies. The device is used on the double-beam crane and comprises a group of beam bodies and a walking frame which are arranged on the double-beam crane in parallel, sliding rails are arranged at the tops of the beam bodies, and walking wheel assemblies are arranged at the bottoms, close to the two ends, of the walking frame; the walking wheel assembly is in sliding connection with the sliding rail and makes friction contact with the side face of the sliding rail. The braking mechanism is used for braking the power wheel assembly and comprises a locking claw assembly and a locking claw driving part, the locking claw assembly is rotationally connected to the bottom of the walking frame, the locking claw driving part is fixedly connected to the bottom of the walking frame, and the action end of the locking claw driving part is in transmission connection with the locking claw assembly. The walking frame can be stopped and fixed at any position, the walking frame is not prone to shaking and local displacement during hoisting work, construction safety is guaranteed, and the performance of the crane is improved.
