The invention provides a connection method and device for a connection robot and an unmanned vehicle. The method is applied to a control system, and comprises the following steps: determining a hanger position of an unmanned vehicle according to a first connection instruction, and controlling a connection robot to move to a target position; a second operation assembly of the unmanned vehicle is used for executing a first action to disassemble the cargo hold from the connection robot; the cargo hold is installed on a hanging frame of the unmanned vehicle; and/or, according to the second connection instruction, determining the hanging frame position of the unmanned vehicle, and controlling the connection robot to move to the target position; a first operation assembly of the connection robot is used for executing a second action to disassemble the cargo hold from the unmanned vehicle; and the cargo hold is installed on the connection robot. According to the first connection instruction and the second connection instruction, the cargo hold can be simply and conveniently disassembled and assembled between the connection robot and the unmanned vehicle through the second operation assembly and the first operation assembly, and transfer of the cargo hold is achieved.
