Methods, systems, and apparatus are disclosed for independently controlling audio playback inside a vehicle. A method for independently controlling audio playback inside a vehicle includes: monitoring whether an audio unit inside the vehicle is turned on; under the condition that the audio unit in the vehicle is monitored to be started, determining the category of the started audio unit in the vehicle; and independently controlling the first group of sound equipment and the second group of sound equipment based on the determined category of the started audio unit in the vehicle. The first set of acoustic devices and the second set of acoustic devices are separately provided inside the vehicle and are independently operable.
