An aircraft identification system (102) according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an aircraft (2), a communication terminal (40) that acquires a fuselage ID of the aircraft (2), and a control system (32) that controls an operation of the aircraft (2). The control system (32) manages a fuselage ID and a plurality of pieces of information on the aircraft (2) indicated by the fuselage ID, which are associated with each other, and when the control system (32) has received from the communication terminal (40) a query message including the fuselage ID and a permission level assigned to the communication terminal (40), the control system (32) sends the query message to the communication terminal (40). The control system (32) selects information to be transmitted to the communication terminal (40) from a plurality of pieces of information about the aircraft (2) associated with the fuselage ID in accordance with the authority level of the communication terminal (40), and transmits the selected information to the communication terminal (40).
