The invention provides a composite coated positive electrode material and a preparation method and application thereof, the composite coated positive electrode material comprises lithium cobalt oxide and a composite coating layer coating the surface of the lithium cobalt oxide, and the material of the composite coating layer comprises iron phosphate and scandium oxide; lithium cobalt oxide is selected as a base material, iron phosphate and scandium oxide are matched to serve as a material of a composite coating layer, and a compact coating layer is formed on the surface of lithium cobalt oxide, so that side reaction caused by direct contact between lithium cobalt oxide and electrolyte can be effectively prevented, and the structural stability of the composite coated positive electrode material is further improved; meanwhile, iron phosphate in the composite coating layer can interact with a polymer component in the SEI film to form an interface layer beneficial to lithium ion transmission, so that the interface transmission property of the composite coated positive electrode material is improved; and the lithium ion battery containing the composite coated positive electrode material has relatively high discharge capacity and excellent cycle performance.

    本发明提供一种复合包覆正极材料及其制备方法和应用,所述复合包覆正极材料包括钴酸锂和包覆在所述钴酸锂表面的复合包覆层,所述复合包覆层的材料包括磷酸铁和氧化钪;通过选择钴酸锂作为基体材料,选择磷酸铁和氧化钪二者搭配作为复合包覆层的材料,在钴酸锂表面形成了紧密的包覆层,能有效防止钴酸锂与电解液直接接触而发生副反应,进而提高了复合包覆正极材料的结构稳定性,同时所述复合包覆层中的磷酸铁能够与SEI膜中聚合物组分相互作用形成有利于锂离子传输的界面层,进而有利于提高复合包覆正极材料的界面传输性,使得包含所述复合包覆正极材料的锂离子电池具有较高的放电容量和优异的循环性能。
