The invention provides a space unfolding variable configuration mechanism and a spacecraft. The space unfolding variable configuration mechanism comprises an air bag; the shape memory structure is connected with the air bag; the shape memory structure comprises a combination part and a branch part extending outwards from the combination part; the branch part comprises a connecting piece and a plurality of supporting pieces which are sequentially connected through the connecting piece; the connecting piece is made of a shape memory polymer material; the shape memory structure comprises a folded state and an unfolded state; the connecting piece can be subjected to phase change through temperature adjustment, so that the shape memory structure is in a folded state or an unfolded state; when the shape memory structure is in the storage state, the air bag is stored in a space defined by the shape memory structure; when the shape memory structure is in the unfolded state, the air bag is completely unfolded along with the shape memory structure. The space unfolding variable configuration mechanism can solve the problem that the structure, the shape and the posture of a spacecraft are difficult to regulate and control due to the fact that the unfolding speed is too high in vacuum.
