The invention belongs to the technical field of steering knuckle preparation, and particularly relates to a nodular cast iron steering knuckle and a preparation technology thereof.The nodular cast iron steering knuckle is a nodular cast iron casting and comprises, by weight, 3.75%-3.95% of C, 0.4%-0.6% of Mn, 2.4%-2.6% of Si, smaller than or equal to 0.015% of S, 0.01%-0.03% of Re, smaller than or equal to 0.1% of Cr, 0.45%-0.5% of Cu, 0.03%-0.06% of Mg and the balance Fe. The high-strength and high-toughness nodular cast iron is used for forging the forklift steering knuckle instead of a steel part, so that the manufacturing process is reduced, and the production cost is reduced. Meanwhile, the process formability of casting production is excellent, and complex and optimized streamline structural parts can be conveniently manufactured, so that structural optimization and light weight of forklift parts are realized; the ductile iron replaces a forge piece to manufacture the forklift steering knuckle, and the quality characteristic of the forklift steering knuckle is improved. A large amount of graphite in the ductile iron exists in a micro spherical shape, the strength performance requirement of the steering knuckle is met, good shock absorption, noise reduction and wear resistance effects are achieved, the using effect of the steering knuckle is greatly improved, and the service life of the steering knuckle is greatly prolonged.
