The invention discloses an air pressure adjusting device for an elevator shaft. The air pressure adjusting device comprises a shaft air pressure monitoring device and at least two ventilation assemblies. The hoistway air pressure monitoring device is mounted in a hoistway and used for acquiring hoistway air pressure data and controlling the ventilation assembly to work according to the air pressure data; the ventilation assembly comprises a nozzle, a guide pipe and an air extractor; the nozzles are installed in an upper pressure relief hole and a lower pressure relief hole of a well, the front portions of the nozzles face the outside of the well, and the rear portions of the nozzles face the inside of the well. The nozzle is provided with an internal channel for receiving air flow, an opening for emitting the air flow and an air flow inlet communicated with the guide pipe; the guide pipe is connected with the air extractor and an airflow inlet of the nozzle; and the air extractor is fixed in the hoistway and is used for extracting air in the hoistway and conveying the air to the internal channel of the nozzle through the guide pipe.
