The invention provides a battery thermal management system, a control method thereof and an electric automobile, and relates to the technical field of electric automobile control. The battery thermal management system comprises a plurality of battery modules and a plurality of battery modules, a plurality of semiconductor refrigeration plates, wherein one corresponding semiconductor refrigeration plate is arranged below one battery module; the battery management system is connected with the semiconductor refrigeration plate; when the semiconductor refrigeration plate is in a first working mode, the battery management system controls the semiconductor refrigeration plate to be powered by the corresponding battery module; when the semiconductor refrigeration plate is in the first working mode, the temperature value of the battery module corresponding to the semiconductor refrigeration plate is smaller than a temperature threshold value, and the temperature value of the adjacent battery module of the battery module corresponding to the semiconductor refrigeration plate is larger than or equal to the temperature threshold value. According to the scheme, thermal management of the single battery module can be realized, and thermal diffusion is reduced after thermal runaway of the battery module occurs.

    本发明提供一种电池热管理系统及其控制方法、电动汽车,涉及电动汽车控制技术领域。其中,所述电池热管理系统包括:多个电池模组;多个半导体制冷板,一个所述电池模组的下方设置有一个对应的半导体制冷板;电池管理系统,与所述半导体制冷板连接;在所述半导体制冷板处于第一工作模式时,所述电池管理系统控制所述半导体制冷板由对应的所述电池模组供电;在所述半导体制冷板处于所述第一工作模式时,所述半导体制冷板对应的电池模组的温度值小于温度阈值,且,所述半导体制冷板对应的电池模组的相邻电池模组的温度值大于或等于所述温度阈值。本发明的方案,能够实现单个电池模组的热管理,在电池模组发生热失控后,减少热扩散。
