The invention belongs to the technical field of power grid equipment, and relates to a suspension structure suitable for docking of an unmanned aerial vehicle and a use method thereof, and the suspension structure comprises a docking plug and a docking socket. A connecting rod used for being connected with the unmanned aerial vehicle is arranged at one end of the butt-joint plug, and a chuck protruding outwards in the radial direction of the butt-joint plug is arranged at the other end of the butt-joint plug. A butt joint hole matched with the chuck in size is formed in the butt joint socket, a plurality of movable grabbing buckles distributed circumferentially are arranged on the side wall of the butt joint hole, and a driving mechanism is connected to the movable grabbing buckles and used for driving the movable grabbing buckles to be opened and closed. When the butt-joint plug is inserted into the butt-joint socket, the chuck is arranged in the butt-joint hole, and the movable claw is closed and buckled on the chuck, so that the butt-joint plug and the butt-joint socket are connected and locked. The use method of the suspension structure comprises two steps of putting the equipment and recovering the equipment. Rapid, stable and reliable connection and separation between the unmanned aerial vehicle and the power equipment can be realized, and the adaptability and efficiency of the unmanned aerial vehicle in power operation are improved.
