The invention relates to a commercial vehicle tyre intended to be mounted on an E.T.R.T.O. Standard manual standardized 15-degree deep-groove rim (width code 5.25 to 9.75) having two rim flanges (2) and two rim sections (3), each having a bead seat surface (3a), the commercial vehicle tyre having two bead regions, each having a bead seat surface (3a), the bead regions having a bead seat surface (3a), the bead seat surface (3a) having a bead seat surface (3b), the bead seat surface (3a) having a bead seat surface (3b), the bead seat surface (3a) having a bead seat surface (3b), and the bead seat surface (3a) having a bead seat surface (3b). The two bead regions have a bead core (4) and in each case a bead toe (6) and a bead contour on the outer side of the tire and a bead contour on the inner side of the tire, which bead contours adjoin one another at the bead toe (6), each bead profile on the outside of the tire has a first section (S1) which is in contact with the rim flange (2) when the commercial vehicle tire is mounted on the rim (1), and an outer profile region which is at least partially in contact with the bead seat surface (3a) when the commercial vehicle tire is mounted on the rim (1). The outer contour region consists of three adjoining segments (S2, S3, S4), in particular as follows: a second segment (S2) adjoining the first segment (S1) in contact with the rim flange (2) at an outer angle ([beta] 1) of 190 DEG to 225 DEG; a third segment (S3) adjoining the second segment at an exterior angle (beta2) of 165 DEG to 175 DEG; and a fourth segment (S4) adjoining the second segment at an exterior angle (beta3) of 200 DEG to 210 DEG, the total width (B) of the projection of the second segment, the third segment and the fourth segment (S2, S3, S4) onto a reference line (g2) extending at an angle (alpha ') of 15 DEG with respect to the second segment (S2) being 20.0 mm to 45.0 mm, and wherein in this projection, the width (B) of the projection of the second segment, the third segment and the fourth segment (S2, S3, S4) is greater than the total width (B) of the projection of the second segment, the third segment and the fourth segment (S2, S3, S4) onto the reference line (g2). The width (b4) of the fourth segment (S4) is 20% to 35% of the total width (B).
