The invention belongs to the technical field of hoisting, and particularly relates to a self-balancing hoisting method and system. The self-balancing lifting method comprises the following steps: connecting and lifting a lifting appliance by adopting slings, respectively winding two slings on a first pulley block and a second pulley block, adjacently arranging a first movable pulley pair of the first pulley block on two lifting points of the lifting appliance, and adjacently arranging a second movable pulley pair of the second pulley block on the other two lifting points of the lifting appliance, fixed pulleys of the two pulley blocks are respectively arranged on a fixed object, the first movable pulley pair and the second movable pulley pair are respectively provided with a movable pulley adjacent to each other, and the hoisting gravity center is arranged in an enclosed area of the first movable pulley pair and the second movable pulley pair. And the winding and unwinding ends of the slings are lifted and lowered from any two non-adjacent movable pulleys. The lifting gravity center is in a quadrilateral range, and lifting is carried out from diagonal lifting points, so that stable self-balancing lifting can be realized, the lifting is simple, efficient, safe and reliable, and the structure is flexible and compact.
