The invention relates to an underwater auxiliary docking device with a guiding function and an operation method, the underwater auxiliary docking device comprises a carrier structure, a propelling system, a viewing and communicating system, a control system, a docking plane leveling system and a lifting traction system, the carrier structure serves as a structure foundation, the propelling system realizes underwater movement, the viewing and communicating system provides a light source and image information, and the control system controls the docking plane leveling system. The control system is connected with the docking plane leveling system and provides a basis for operation of the docking plane leveling system, the control system achieves control and automatic control of personnel on the water surface platform, the docking plane leveling system can achieve leveling of a docking plane, and the lifting traction system can achieve underwater rapid shuttling and docking of the rescue submersible vehicle. Through cooperative operation among the systems, the rescue submersible vehicle is assisted to implement rescue, the rescue process is simplified, the shuttling speed and the butt joint speed of the rescue submersible vehicle are increased, time consumption is reduced, the rescue period is shortened, and the rescue efficiency is comprehensively improved.
