The invention provides a lane keeping assist system and an adaptive control method thereof. The self-adaptive control method comprises the following steps: judging whether a vehicle runs on a straight road at a steady speed or not; when the vehicle runs on a straight road at a steady speed, steering characteristic learning is carried out, and a steering parameter compensation value is obtained; calculating a steering parameter value; compensating the steering parameter value by using the steering parameter compensation value to obtain a steering output value; and performing automatic transverse control of the vehicle according to the steering output value. Therefore, when the steering characteristic of the vehicle changes, the lane keeping auxiliary system can still keep good performance, and the use experience and the satisfaction degree of a terminal user are improved.

    本发明提供一种车道保持辅助系统及其的自适应控制方法。所述自适应控制方法包括:判断车辆是否稳速直道行驶;在车辆稳速直道行驶时,进行转向特性学习,得到转向参数补偿值;计算转向参数值;利用所述转向参数补偿值对所述转向参数值进行补偿得到转向输出值;根据所述转向输出值进行车辆的自动横向控制。这样在车辆转向特性变化时,车道保持辅助系统依然可以保持良好的性能,提高了终端用户的使用体验和满意度。
