The invention relates to a vehicle power architecture, a power control module, and a related method. The vehicle power architecture (20) comprises: a plurality of functional blocks (4, 5, 6, 7) for implementing functions; a power supply input (9) for receiving a DC power supply; and an electronic control unit ECU (2). An ECU (2) includes: a control block (3) for controlling a plurality of functional blocks (4, 5, 6, 7) to perform functions; and a plurality of power control switches (122), each power control switch being switchable under the control of the control block (3) between a closed state in which at least one respective functional block (4, 5, 6, 7) is connected to the power supply input (9) and an open state in which at least one respective functional block (4, 5, 6, 7) is disconnected from the power supply input (9). The power control switch (122) may be part of a power control module (12).
