The invention discloses a vehicle brake failure detection and control method, which comprises the following steps: when the vehicle brake fails and the whole vehicle does not report a brake system fault; and entering a brake caliper clearance fault processing flow, judging whether the brake caliper clearance fault exists or not, and performing fault elimination operation on the brake caliper clearance fault. The method has the advantages that the failure type of the failure fault of the brake system can be accurately detected, and an alarm is given; meanwhile, each failure type ensures that a braking system provides reliable braking force through different control strategies, and safe braking of the system is ensured; no hardware system is improved, the method can be realized by integrating the method in the braking system, the hardware cost is zero, and the realization is convenient and reliable.

    本发明公开了一种车辆制动失效的检测和控制方法,包括,在车辆制动失效且整车没有报出制动系统故障时;进入制动器卡钳间隙故障处理流程,判断是否为制动器卡钳间隙故障并对制动器卡钳间隙故障进行故障消除操作。本发明的优点在于:对制动系统的失效故障可以准确的检测出失效类型并给出报警提醒;同时每种失效类型通过不同的控制策略来保证制动系统提供可靠的制动力,保证系统的安全制动;无硬件系统的改进,将方法集成在制动系统中即可实现,硬件成本为0,实现方便可靠。
