The anti-collision early warning method comprises the following steps: shooting a plurality of photos of a monitoring area at certain time intervals; obtaining the contour of the object in each photo and the coordinate of the object corresponding to the contour; comparing the contour coordinates of the object in the pictures shot in the adjacent shooting time, and judging whether the contour of the object moves or not; judging that the contour of the object moves, marking the contour of the moving object as a first marking line, and marking the contour of the static object as a second marking line; when the distance between the first marking line and the second marking line reaches an alarm threshold value, sound-light alarm is triggered. The invention further discloses an anti-collision early warning device for the crane. By means of the anti-collision early warning method and device for the crane, the movement condition of the crane can be monitored in a complex operation area in a multi-angle mode; a moving object is tracked in real time, and the moving object is prevented from colliding with a static object.
