According to the freight elevator service life prediction method, the levelness of a lift car can be kept through levelness adjustment, and levelness detection can also be conducted; through horizontal adjustment, driving steel wire rope abrasion fracture detection and driving traction wheel abrasion detection can be cooperatively matched, and the safe operation distance or the service life of the freight elevator can be predicted by detecting the abrasion degree of the driving steel wire rope and the abrasion degree of the driving traction wheel; three influence factors, namely the levelness, the driving steel wire and the driving traction wheel which influence the service life of the elevator, can be controlled, stable and reliable service life prediction can be established, relevant parts can be maintained in time, and safe operation of the elevator is guaranteed.
