The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a vehicle headlamp device capable of improving the seeing omission of a pedestrian by a driver even at night or under severe conditions such as night and rainy days. In order to solve the problem, the present invention provides a vehicle headlamp device (1) comprising: a light irradiation unit (left pattern irradiation lamp (41)) that irradiates light to a light distribution region (irradiation pattern light distribution region (16)) on the outside of a travel lane in an irradiation pattern (Lp) in which bright regions (a1) and dark regions (a2) are alternately repeated; a control means (lamp control ECU 40) for controlling the lighting and non-lighting of the light irradiation unit; and a detection means (90) for detecting the presence of a pedestrian (15) in the light distribution region. The control means illuminates the light irradiation unit based on a detection result of the detection means. In one aspect, the detection means emits a detection output (human identification signal Spi2) that is the accuracy of a second walker that is lower than the accuracy of a first walker that is the accuracy of the second walker that is the accuracy of the second walker that is the accuracy of the second walker that is the accuracy of the second walker.
