The invention provides a relay circuit of a power battery pack and a relay fault identification method, a VCU outside the power battery pack is not directly connected to a control end of an emergency power-off relay, but a BMS controller is connected to the emergency power-off relay through a first diode. After an emergency power-off signal of the whole vehicle is received, a VCU outside the power battery pack does not directly control the control end of the emergency power-off relay, but sends an emergency power-off instruction to the BMS controller, the BMS controller disconnects the main positive relay according to the emergency power-off instruction, then the emergency power-off relay is disconnected after waiting for a period of time, and the power battery pack is powered off. In addition, the control end of the emergency power-off relay is connected in parallel with an anti-reverse diode, so that uncontrolled opening and closing of the emergency power-off relay caused by frequent voltage jump of the control end of the emergency power-off relay are avoided, and the probability of damage of the relay is reduced.
