The invention relates to the technical field of robots, and discloses a satellite service three-legged robot which comprises a machine body upper shell, a disc-shaped chassis and three mechanical arms, the upper surface of the disc-shaped chassis is detachably connected with the machine body upper shell through bolts, and an opening is formed in the front surface of the machine body upper shell; a storage box, a power source and a controller are installed in the machine body upper shell, three lugs are fixedly connected to the outer side wall of the disc-shaped base plate, a mechanical arm is installed below each lug and comprises five servo motor assemblies, and triangular prism feet are connected to the tail ends of the mechanical arms. The three-legged robot can be attached to the surface of the satellite to move, so that the states of equipment outside the satellite and the surrounding situation of the whole satellite can be monitored in real time, part of emergency problems of the satellite can be maintained and handled, the probability of whole satellite fault failure and even single-point failure is reduced, the reliability of in-orbit work of the satellite is greatly improved, and even the in-orbit service life of the satellite is greatly prolonged.
