The invention belongs to the technical field of underwater naval vessels, and particularly relates to an underwater robot and a load rejection device thereof. The load rejection device comprises a fixed seat and a mounting seat, a first clamping arm and a second clamping arm are hinged to the mounting seat, a load rejection block is clamped at the bottoms of the two clamping arms, and an active pushing part located on one side of the mounting seat is further arranged on the fixed seat; at least one of the first clamping arm and the second clamping arm comprises at least two parts which are connected through an explosive bolt; the heavy objects on the two clamping arms are connected to the fixing base through traction ropes, and the traction ropes are snapped after the breakable connecting pieces are broken. Or the heavy objects on the two clamping arms are connected to the fixed seat through a breakable connecting piece; a hollow sleeve body is arranged on the fixed seat, the breakable connecting piece comprises a first part and a second part which are separately arranged up and down, the first part comprises a closed hollow cylinder penetrating into the hollow sleeve body, and the closed hollow cylinder is in interference fit with the hollow sleeve body; the second part is connected with the mounting seat or the weight, and the first part and the second part are connected through a sound control lock.
