The invention relates to a gray glass composition and vehicle window glass. The gray glass composition comprises a basic component and a coloring component, wherein the coloring component comprises the following components in percentage by mass in the gray glass composition: 1.3%-2.5% of total iron (Fe2O3), 100 ppm to 800 ppm of titanium dioxide (TiO2), 100 ppm to 500 ppm of chromium sesquioxide (Cr2O3), 100 ppm to 400 ppm of cobalt oxide (CoO), 10 ppm to 50 ppm of selenium (Se) and 10 ppm to 50 ppm of tin oxide (SnO2). The gray glass composition has the comprehensive performance of low visible light transmittance, low infrared ray transmittance, low ultraviolet ray transmittance and low solar energy direct transmittance, has a neutral gray hue meeting visual comfort, and also has great economic advantages.
