The invention relates to a method for determining a tire longitudinal stiffness (Kx) of at least one wheel (1) of a motor vehicle (2) during operation of the motor vehicle (2), the method comprises the following steps: generating, in at least one wheel (1), a sinusoidal modulation for sinusoidal excitation of a wheel speed (omega) for an axle drive torque or a wheel drive torque required to maintain a current vehicle speed (v) or a braking torque or a regenerative torque required to maintain a current braking power, whereby a sinusoidal wheel speed fluctuation is induced; and-detecting the resulting sinusoidal wheel speed fluctuations, and-determining the amplitude ([omega] amp) from the detected wheel speed fluctuations thus induced, and-ascertaining the tire longitudinal stiffness (Kx) as a function of the amplitude ([omega] amp). The invention also relates to a device and a vehicle.
