The disclosed embodiments include a system for regulating a voltage output of a transformer in response to voltage data received from a sensor. In an illustrative embodiment, a system includes a voltage sensor system configured to collect voltage data measurable between at least one transformer system and a battery charging system, the battery charging system being electrically coupleable to a charging device, and the charging device is configured to receive power from the at least one transformer system via the power cable; a transceiver configured to receive voltage data from the voltage sensor system and to transmit the voltage data to the at least one transformer system; and a voltage compensator configured to receive the voltage data from the transceiver and adjust a voltage output of the transformer system in response to the voltage data to reduce a voltage drop between the at least one transformer system and the battery charging system.
