The method comprises the steps that when a first preset duration is passed after the whole vehicle is powered off, the first environment temperature T1 and the first voltage U1 of a low-voltage storage battery of the vehicle are obtained through a battery detection unit of the vehicle; according to the first environment temperature T1 and the first voltage U1 of the low-voltage storage battery, the state of charge SOC of the low-voltage storage battery is determined through a vehicle body control unit BCM of the vehicle; when it is determined that the SOC of the low-voltage storage battery is smaller than a first preset electric quantity threshold value, the high-voltage storage battery charges the low-voltage storage battery through a direct-current converter DCDC, and the first preset electric quantity threshold value is the SOC of the to-be-charged state corresponding to the low-voltage storage battery. Therefore, the low-voltage storage battery can be charged, the requirement for long-term storage of the whole vehicle is met, and the situation that the SOC of the low-voltage storage battery is determined through storage battery sensors which are high in cost and not configured for many vehicles is avoided.
