The battery swap station configuration method comprises the following steps: acquiring a battery swap demand number of a battery swap station in a battery swap peak period of a past predetermined time period, wherein the battery swap demand number is the number of replaced batteries in unit time; acquiring the queuing battery replacement demand number of the battery replacement station in the battery replacement peak period of the past preset time period, wherein the queuing battery replacement demand number is the number of replaced batteries in the vehicle queuing duration of the battery replacement peak period; and determining the battery configuration number according to the battery replacement demand number and the queuing demand number so that the battery configuration number can meet the battery replacement demand of the battery replacement station in the battery replacement peak period and the vehicle queuing duration requirement to the minimum extent. Therefore, the batteries of the battery swap station are enough for users to use, the queuing time can be reduced, the battery configuration number can meet the user requirement to the minimum, resource waste caused by the too high battery number can be reduced, and the too long user queuing time caused by the too small battery number can also be reduced.
