Comprising a traveling crane fixing assembly, a rotating assembly, a compaction cake grabbing and releasing assembly and an instrument detection switch, and the compaction cake grabbing and releasing assembly is connected with the fixing assembly, the rotating assembly and the instrument detection switch. The compaction cake gripping apparatus has the beneficial effects that (1) the compaction cake gripping apparatus is provided with the rotating motor, so that the gripping apparatus can be rotated at any angle, the manual rotating operation of a steel drum of an on-site operator is reduced, and the operation dosage of the operator is reduced; and (2) the gripping apparatus adopts a steel wire rope lifting structure, and adopts a mode that a guide wheel is matched with a guide fixing plate, so that when the compact cake assembly is lifted to the highest position, a guide plate 203 is matched with a guide wheel 104, and shaking of the compact cake gripping apparatus can be prevented.
