The invention relates to a ship tail shaft segmented construction method. The method comprises the steps that S1, the position of a splitting line is determined; s2, a strut type jig frame, a first formwork type jig frame and a second formwork type jig frame are manufactured, and it is guaranteed that the jig frames are horizontal through laser measurement; s3, assembling and preassembling the lower half part on the strut type jig frame; s4, the upper half portion of the first formwork type jig frame is assembled and preassembled, and a row of first outer plates are reserved and not installed; s5, the lower half part assemblage is positioned on the second formwork type jig frame; s6, a first tail shaft tube is hoisted; s7, the upper half part assembly is hoisted; s8, internal welding of the upper half part assembly and the lower half part assembly is carried out; and S9, the first outer plate is installed and reserved. The split construction and parallel operation are realized, the efficiency is greatly improved, the safety coefficient is high, and the linear control of the outer plate is good.
