The invention relates to an automobile component manufacturing method which comprises the following steps that a latticed supporting framework is manufactured, and a latticed attaching net face is formed on the supporting framework; the supporting framework serves as a forming mold to manufacture a metal plate skin; and the metal plate skin is attached to the attaching net face of the supporting framework, and the metal plate skin is fixedly connected to the supporting framework. The invention further provides an automobile which comprises the automobile component, the automobile component comprises the supporting framework and the metal plate skin, the supporting framework is in a grid shape, a grid-shaped attaching net face is formed on the supporting framework, the metal plate skin is attached to the attaching net face of the supporting framework, and the metal plate skin is fixedly connected to the supporting framework. The manufacturing method has the characteristics of less equipment used in the manufacturing process, easiness in implementation, low cost and capability of obtaining the sheet metal skin with relatively high precision, and personalized customization and refitting requirements of a user can be met in a short period.
