The actual operation road section and the changing operation road condition of the locomotive are considered, so that the maximum traction limit of the locomotive can be changed in real time along with the change of the road condition of the road section, and locomotive traction is carried out under the condition that wheel set idling does not occur as much as possible. And when the idling of the wheel set cannot be avoided, a plurality of factors influencing the idling of the wheel set are quantified and then weighted calculation is carried out, so that comprehensive judgment of multiple factors is realized, and the idling judgment of the wheel set is more comprehensive and accurate.
