The invention relates to the technical field of chargers for electric vehicles, in particular to an external high-temperature-resistant shell of a charger for an electric vehicle. The charger comprises a charger body, supporting points are formed at the four corners of the bottom of a placing assembly and a heat insulation assembly, the contact area of the heat insulation assembly and the ground is reduced through the supporting points, the charger body and the placing assembly are movably connected, and a heat dissipation assembly is arranged on the surface of the charger body and used for adsorbing heat on the surface of the charger body. Meanwhile, the heat dissipation assembly generates water drops on the inner wall of the heat insulation assembly and the surface of the charger body in the working process, the charger body is secondarily cooled in the flowing process of the water drops, meanwhile, the water drops absorb heat of an inner cavity of the heat insulation assembly, and the heat insulation assembly is movably connected with the charger body and used for guiding the water drops on the surface of the charger body. And the heat insulation assembly discharges the water drops out of the interior of the charger body through contacting with the external temperature.
